Wales Bonner is back with another collaboration with her long-standing partnership with adidas Originals.
The London-based designer has been working with adidas since 2020 and took on the adidas Samba silhouettes for her first collaborative venture with the brand. This led to the further success of the Samba in recent years, as Wales Bonner sought to reimagine the classic.
Known for using premium materials focussing on clean-cut silhouettes, Grace Wales Bonner often adds hints of details with a nod to her Caribbean heritage. After launching her label in 2014 as a menswear brand, Wales Bonner’s expanded to womenswear, where she used her expertise to modernise and revitalise traditional tailoring techniques to create expressive garments.
IS THIS WALES BONNER’S BEST SAMBA COLLABORATION YET?
Four new re-imagined takes on the original Samba join the Wales Bonner family tree. The collection includes the now signature, classic fold-over tongue with woven edges and new pony-hair uppers, which gives that sumptuous look and feel.
The most noticeable colourway from the selection is the leopard print pony hair that stands out for all the right reasons. Dark browns and accent blue inner create a loud but well-balanced trainer that anyone who wants to jazz up their shoe collection should opt for.
It isn’t the first time we have seen Wales Bonner being striking with her designs, after the successful release and hype of the Silver Metallic Samba colourway that was released back in June that caught everyone’s eyes.

Our favourite has to be the black pony hair colourway. It features the classic colours of black and white and has the traditional gum sole but with the Wales Bonner treatment. The extra details give the additional luxurious feel that a lot of people have been waiting for.
It makes for a perfect everyday essential infused with elegance, making it ideal to dress up or down. If you want a pair to wear any day of the week, this is the one to choose.
Available November 8 at adidas via Confirmed and through selected retailers.

In addition to the succesful footwear collaboration, there is all so appareal wear in the Fall/Winter Collection.
Taking inspirations from the 70s through to the 90s, we see brown, grey and cream velour tracksuits which boasts the classic adidas three stripes and Wales Bonner brand name throughout.
Sticking with a fusion between sportwear and style, there are knitted long sleeved football polos, statement shorts and staple tees on offer.
Nylon track tops all so add to the classic look, including a asymmetrical collar design that incorporates luxury tailoring with the sportwear functionality.
